Last week was the Fall 2017 Bridal Fashion Week and you know what that means—hundreds of new, gorgeous gowns to drool over!
Designers from around the world flew into New York City last week for their International Bridal Show held at Pier 94, where they shared and showcased their latest designs. According to both Style Me Pretty and an article covering the Bridal Show from International Business Times , floral appliqué, pantsuits and tiered ruffles are among some of the top 2017 Bridal trends.
The pantsuits are an interesting twist on the traditional gown, aimed at the modern millennial bride-to-be. Style Me Pretty says designers are changing up the traditional and introducing bridal separates like pants, jackets, and even rompers. They also alert us of the newest bridal accessory trend—the belt!
Over on The Knot they’re saying that metallic dresses filled the runways during Bridal Fashion Week, and we can totally see why! These glitzy gowns are definite show-stoppers!
It seems there are no shortages on cool trends coming our way—for the wedding photographer and future bride alike.
Did you know that we have our very own collection of bridal gowns available for rent with any in-studio rental? Trendy and classic, these gowns are definitely runway (and photo shoot) worthy! Be sure to give @wardrobe_rentals a follow on Instagram for more details.
So, what’s your favorite Fall 2017 Bridal trend? We’re kind of digging that shimmery metallic over here at The Loft. We can just imagine how awesome a metallic gown would look gleaming in all that natural light!
